1. OVERVIEW

Recently launched VIVO V25PRO consists of the phone itself, a decent quality transparent TPU case(snuggly fitted), a 66 watt flash charge adapter, USB type A to type C cable, SIM ejector tool, documentation and a sticker right in the box. It has a pre-applied scratch guard and definitely feels premium to the hand for which VIVO is generally known for.

2. LOOKS/ BUILD QUALITY

This comes with a glass back and with curve edges. Talking about ports and buttons, it has all having a noise cancelling microphone at the top and has "professional photography" printed. At the bottom it has charging port and speakers but sadly misses out with the 3.5 mm jack. Generally V series of are known for their cameras but the main feature to highlight about this phone is it's colour changing effect at the back. Yes, you can change it's back by rubbing a UV light. Which is it feels premium to hand. It has a big camera section at the top and weighs about 192 grams. It comes with a dual nano sim card slot. It comes in two colour options - Pure Black and Sailing blue

3. SPECIFICATIONS

Talking amount specification, this phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G processor. It is a 6nm based processor and power efficient. It comes in two variant 8/128 and 12/256 GB. It has LPDDR 4X ram and UFS 3.1 storage type.

 4. DISPLAY/PERFORMANCE

This phone comes with a curved 6.56 inch, 120Hz P(plastic)OLED display which supports HDR10+ having 1300 nits of brightness. It supports a 300Hz touch sampling rate and a short sensation glass. Talking about bezels, they are nearly non-existent and very thin at the top and chin. so overall excellent screen to body ratio.

Talking about performance this smartphone comes with Dimensity 1300 giving an approx. antutu score 7,11,000 which is really good. You can play games like PUBG NEW STATE at second highest settings at 90FPS. However the curved edge display results in some accidental touches. Although thermals are well managed on this device but after a gameplay of 45 minutes to 1 hour some throttling are in case of sustained performance in Dimensity 1300.

5. CAMERA/BATTERY

It comes with a triple camera setup consisting a 64MP(f/1.89) Primary sensor which supports OIS and EIS, a 8MP Ultrawide lens and 2MP Macro lens. It comes with a 32MP(f/2.45) selfie sensor. Talking about photography at low light conditions(generally night mode) images comes out to be very good as we can use OIS there as well. It comes with a feature "Real time extreme night vision" which actually shows how the image would be after post processing. So it shows the effects of post processing in real time. The computational photography(Post processing) of selfie camera also stands out mainly the EYE-Auto
focus which always keeps you in focus even if the movement is too high. Talking about videography, you can shoot video at 4K 60FPS and because of OIS the
videos becomes very stable. You can shoot videos in HDR, portrait mode, comes packed with a handful of features like Magical Night Portrait, VLOG mode, Bouquet Flair mode, and other additional filters. In short the VIVO V series which are generally known for their cameras is well consistent in this model too.

       8. CONCLUSION

If you looking at a premium mid-range camera centric smartphone this may be your choise. I am telling this because this phone comes at Rs 35,999 for 8GB RAM variant and Rs. 39,999 for top of 128 GB ram variant. Yes. you get an exquisite design which no other smartphone brought till now but on the other side certain cost cuttings are done by not providing things like Stereo speakers(must), FM radio, Notification light, IP certifications, Metal frame etc. Yes it's a good phone for college student who prefer best-in-class looks and outer design language to buy but certainly not a value for money deal.
