Around 2 years ago when the first generation of the Air pods were launched, the most outstanding quality of it was its ANC. Truely the ANC was next level on it, and the launch of its second generation now really exited me. So, let's see whether it can match up with the current market competition of the same price range.

1. OVERVIEW

 The box contains the air pods itself inside the case, USB type C - Lightning cable, extra ear tips (3 sizes), and some documentations.

2. LOOKS/BUILD QUALITY

The in hand feel and even the look of the outer case is exactly similar to the previous generation exact the lanyard hook which will help you to keep the case in your hand with the lanyard cable.

Behind you get the pairing button, at front there is the LED light indicator. At the bottom there are speaker grills which is mainly used for "Find My Device" purpose.

Talking about the weight, it is 61 grams which is exactly the same as the previous generation. Even the buds are very similar. One just cannot differentiate between the current and previous air pods.

3. PAIRING

The pairing is very fast and simple, obviously when you are in the Apple ecosystem. When you press the pairing button, immediately your iPhone recognizes your device. It's just awesome.

The Apple Air pods Pro 2 comes with the all new H2 chip which carries out more functions than ever using computational algorithms to deliver even smarter noise cancellation, superior three-dimensional sound and even more efficient battery life_ all at once.

5. AUDIO QUALITY

Compared to the previous gen, this time Apple made its device more bass heavy, obviously you can tune the audio quality from the app according to your will but in the default mode, the bass is on the heavier side. As the previous generation, the vocals, mids, treble, highs are all well balanced and gives top notch output.

6. BATTERY

The battery backup of the current generation is improved now. With the case, it gives about 30 hours of back up on a single charge and the ear buds itself gives about 6 hours of back up.

7. ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Now you can increase and decrease the volume just by sliding the fingers on the side of the buds. Now there is Adaptive Transparency mode.

So now if you are somewhere where there is excess surround sound then the Ambient sound will go up while on the other hand if someone is talking to you then the ambient sound will automatically go down.

Now that is really interesting. Because of the new H2 processor, the device can sample the sound 48,000 times per second. It gets Mag safe charging, reverse wireless charging, IPX4 rating.

Look all over according to me the current generation Air pods are just an incremental update over the previous ones. However, if you want to buy them then just go for it right now on Amazon or Flipkart where you can grab these for 16k or 17k. Now at this price this is a great product. Since it is an Apple product, it is a must for you to use it within the Apple ecosystem to get its full potential. So yes, all over a good update from Apple.
