One of the most successful product ranges launched by Samsung every year is their bud's series which can be recommended to different kinds of users without any kind of hesitations. This year also Samsung has kept up with their legacy by launching their latest and greatest Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. In this version also Samsung has done a great job by fantastically tuning the sound.

1. OVERVIEW
The box contains the case itself with the pair of buds in it, a quick start guide, a typeC - typeC charging cable, extra eartips. Thats all.
2. DESIGN/BUILD QUALITY
The case and the buds now come with a matt finish giving it a soft touch effect and gives far more premium in hand feel. Moreover, the size of the buds has been reduced by 15% compared to the previous generation, and the weight is also reduced to 5.5 gram for each bud. There is an added Vent hole which actually enhances the wind flow through the nozzle and the vent helping in improving the comfort factor.
In fact, Galaxy Ear Buds Pro are one of the true TWS available out there in the market which fits very comfortable with majority of the ears, with their awesome silicon tips thus encouraging user to use the device for long music sessions without any fatigue. In fact, the silicon tips are so good that they just fit so perfectly that you will never have the fear of falling out. So absolutely top notch in terms of comfort.

4. SOUND QUALITY
Now there is all new support for Samsung's new seamless codec 24bit(48khz) audio which is at least 256 times more detailed sound than the regular 16bit audio.
The Buds 2 Pro a Playback Bitrate of up to 2304 kbps which is definitely higher than CD quality audio(1411kbps).
For reference the universally accepted BT codec LDAC produces 990kbps. So, Samsung's seamless codec is currently best codec out there in the market transferring the largest amounts of musical data wirelessly. However, talking about the caveat, the above condition can only be fulfilled in presence of a compatible Samsung smartphone. A big praise for this of course goes to the AKG audio tuning and the fact that you get coaxial drivers which is in simple words a couple of drivers in a tweeter and a woofer format resembling a traditional stereo speaker system.
5. FEATURES
The all-new features include the 360-degree audio tuning powered by Dolby Atmos which can be enabled from the Galaxy wearable app itself. In addition, it also includes support from Dolby 5.1 and Dolby 7.1 standards. The 360-degree audio has been tuned so well that it takes your video viewing experience like never before. Like a true Dolby Atmos support has been given.
The buds are IPX7 rated so absolutely no problem to use in presence of sweat, water and spills.
Samsung claims that in terms of intelligent ANC the current generation model is about 1.4 times better than the previous model. Additionally, there is voice detect feature which puts the Buds into ambient (Ambient sound mode) whenever you are trying to have a conversation.
7. CONNECTIVITY
This device comes with Bluetooth 5.3 standard, and you also get access to "Find My Device" in terms of Buds 2 Pro.
However, the Auto-pause feature is surprisingly missing when you take off the buds from your ear, yes touch controls are there, and they work fairly well. The buds of course provide direct and easy pairing with Samsung devices specifically and you also get support of multi-point however it will only function if and only if all your Samsung devices connected to the same Galaxy account.
Oh yes, this feature also works with Samsung TVs as well.
8. BATTERY
Samsung claims that with one full charge the Buds 2 Pro will last for 5 hours with ANC on and with 5 minutes of charge this device gives about 1 hour of playback. Considering the fact that Samsung really tried hard to reduce the size of Buds and succeed as well, the battery life didn't improve by
that much from the previous generation.

10. CONCLUSION
In my opinion Samsung made a great product this time also and made a huge improvement over the previous generation, like you get an improved detailed sound signature, a better more comfortable fit, better ANC, 360-degree audio and a few more features as well. So, it is the best product of Samsung in truly wireless category yet and could easily be the best TWS under Rs. 20,000. So, if you have a well-built Samsung ecosystem to take the full advantage of the device, you can surely go for it.
